About
The Integrative Design for Radical Energy Efficiency Learning Hub
This Learning Hub has been created to provide you with the opportunity to learn the practice of integrative design and how to apply it to achieve dramatic resource and energy efficiency improvements by looking at whole systems rather than individual system parts. Our goal is to demystify the integrative design process by providing explanations, key questions, and examples for each integrative design pillar. We include knowledge and context that we hope will give you new perspective and help change the way you look at energy problems with a goal of unlocking the vast energy efficiency resource that exists for buildings, transportation, industry, and electricity.
The content on our Learning Hub comes from the Integrative Design for Radical Energy Efficiency course, which is taught at Stanford University by renowned experts Amory Lovins and Joel Swisher. Much of our course content has a U.S. focus because of our location and the availability of accurate data. However, we do attempt to bring in data and perspectives from other countries where possible. As a team of educators, we do our best to provide accurate and current information.
